Here's exactly how the gate works. No vague promises.
If the whole pitch is “we're not a marketplace,” you deserve to know precisely what that means in practice.
Five states. Identity is masked for the first three of them.
This is the sequence every introduction moves through, in order. An introduction cannot skip a state, and no single person, on either side or at the desk, can move it from masked to revealed alone.
- 01Proposed
A match is put forward
- What is visible
- Neither side can see the other. Each is shown the shape of the opportunity only: sector, size band, structure, timeline.
- Who moves it
- The Bridge desk, after a human has reviewed the shortlist.
- 02Seller opt-in or buyer opt-in
One side agrees to go further
- What is visible
- Nothing changes. Agreeing does not reveal you, and it does not tell the other side who agreed first.
- Who moves it
- Either side. Whoever is ready first; there is no set order.
- 03Mutual opt-in
Both sides have agreed, independently
- What is visible
- Still masked, for the moment it takes to open the room. Consent from both sides is what unlocks it, and one side alone never can.
- Who moves it
- The second side to opt in.
- 04Revealed
Identity and financials open
- What is visible
- Names, company, and the numbers behind the profile, to the two members in this introduction and nobody else.
- Who moves it
- Nobody. It follows automatically from the two opt-ins.
- 05Closed
The introduction ends
- What is visible
- What was revealed stays with the two members. The introduction is finished and moves out of the live list.
- Who moves it
- Either side, once the conversation has run its course.
Either side can decline instead, at any point before the reveal. Declining ends the introduction where it stands, and nothing that was masked is ever shown.
You're never publicly listed, ever
Founders appear to nobody by default. Even after a match is proposed, identity and financials stay masked until both sides independently opt in.
Buyers verify before they see anything
A Verified Buyer badge (KYC + proof of funds) stands behind every introduction. When a buyer chooses to connect, a one-time connection fee applies, fully refundable if the founder never responds. It filters out tire-kickers before a seller is ever notified.
A human reviews every proposed match
Matching is assisted by your data, but no introduction happens without review. This isn't an algorithm quietly connecting strangers.
You control your own data room
Sellers build their data room at their own pace. Nothing in it is visible to anyone, buyer or otherwise, until a specific, opted-in introduction happens.
Where do you stand?
Tell us whether you're a founder considering an exit or a buyer with a mandate. The gate works the same way for both sides.
Confidential by design. Nothing is revealed until both sides opt in.
